Subject: DPW-8 Website Update and Group Status

DPW Friends,

Efforts for DPW-8 continue to gain momentum, and we're excited about the scope of the workshop.

We wanted to alert you to changes on the DPW-8 website https://aiaa-dpw.larc.nasa.gov. While still in work, a geometry page and a grids page have been added. Geometry and grids will be provided in time. The details for Test Case 1 are being finalized and a statement of work will be released soon.

Working groups are being actively formed. The Static Aeroelastic Deformation Working Group and Buffet Working Group have been assembled. The Steady Fixed-Geometry Working Group and Wind Tunnel Test Environment Working Group have not yet met but are being assembled. The attendee lists have been populated from the SurveyMonkey posted earlier this year. If you would like to be added to any of these groups, please let us know.

There are plans to have an in-person/hybrid meeting at AVIATION 2024 for the workshop. Stay tuned for additional details.
